Patrick started Lucullus forty years ago and continues to take the lead role is purchasing, describing, and authenticating the merchandise. He is also an active partner in the design firm, Decorations Lucullus and specializes in reclaiming period interiors for 21st century living. He and Lucullus has been featured widely in lifestyle magazines and media programs. He has written and lectured extensively on the history of culinary style, and the elements of Southern decorative taste. He remains forever convinced Life is better with antiques.

After decades in the business, he not only knows antiques but understands them. In his capacity overseeing sales, he is infinitely charming as well as instructive. He also assists in buying, the floor design of the showroom and has a masterful touch in floral presentations. He is a partner in the design firm Decorations Lucullus where his expertise centers on styling rooms.

Professionally educated in Interior Design and qualified as ASID, he also studied architecture. He continues his education with frequent trips to Europe to expand his special interest in the various expressions of classical style. As the youngest member of the Lucullus team, he brings fresh perspectives as well as the discipline of meticulous attention to detail. In addition, he is the managing partner in the firm Decorations Lucullus.

A mainstay of Lucullus for decades Michele’s, education and previous experience centered on the art and museum world in England and America. She spearheads our research projects, and identifies prospective new sources for inventory. She also assists in Decorations Lucullus and oversees our social media.

Years of sensitive handling of our conservation and restoration work has made him deeply familiar with period techniques and construction. His raison d’etre is preserving and restoring fine works of craftsmanship for another generation or two. He is also a musician of note and songwriter. With his underground rock and roll band “Chicken Snake” & country band “Jerry Teel and the Big City Stompers,” he has produced a substantial discography of vinyl albums.

Lambert is an eight-generation native of New Orleans and a trained classical guitarist. Additionally, he handles the metal restoration for Lucullus and is one of the few practitioners of the ancient craft of wipe-tinning copper cookware.
